Angel Reese lists Lemont property for $1.45 million following trade to Atlanta Dream
Reese purchased the 3,600-square-foot home in April 2025 for $1.28 million, months after addressing public commentary regarding her financial management and living expenses.

WNBA player Angel Reese is listing her residence in Lemont, Illinois, for $1.45 million, according to a report by NBC 5 Chicago. The 3,600-square-foot property, located at 12735 Caruso Court, features five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an open-concept design that includes a chef’s kitchen, office, and entertainment room. Reese plans to list the home on Monday, June 8, 2026.
The sale follows Reese’s trade from the Chicago Sky to the Atlanta Dream in April 2026. Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca stated that the transaction was designed to achieve roster balance, noting Reese’s record-breaking milestones and competitive impact during her first two years with the franchise. Reese has since contributed to the Dream’s 7-3 record, setting new franchise records including becoming the fastest player in league history to reach 900 rebounds.
Reese originally purchased the Lemont property in April 2025 for $1.28 million, according to Redfin. The acquisition came shortly after she addressed public commentary regarding her financial management. In late 2024, Reese revealed that her initial WNBA salary was insufficient to cover her living expenses, noting she was paying approximately $8,000 per month in rent. She later clarified that her comments were sarcastic, given her total earnings for 2025.
In 2025, Reese earned $9.4 million, making her the highest-paid Black woman in basketball. Her income was derived from a combination of her WNBA salary, endorsement deals with brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Cash App, and Reebok, and a contract with Unrivaled Basketball. Reese has previously stated that her WNBA check serves as a bonus compared to her endorsement income, highlighting the financial stability provided by her broader commercial portfolio.
The listing of her Chicago-area home aligns with her relocation to Atlanta, where she is expected to spend the majority of her time with the Dream. The property includes additional features such as custom window treatments, updated lighting, a three-car garage, a lookout basement, and a fenced-in backyard. The sale marks a significant real estate transaction for the athlete as she transitions to a new team and market.
