Amazon’s best 4K streaming sticks are up to 40 percent off
Retailers Best Buy and Target offer historic lows on Amazon’s flagship streaming hardware

Amazon has initiated a significant price reduction on its Fire TV Stick 4K Plus and Fire TV Stick 4K Max, with discounts reaching up to 40 per cent. The move brings both devices to their lowest historical prices, available through major retailers Best Buy and Target. This pricing adjustment positions the streaming hardware as a more accessible entry point for consumers looking to upgrade their home entertainment setups.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is now priced at $34.99, representing a $25 discount. It distinguishes itself within the lineup by offering 16GB of internal storage and support for Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Crucially, it is the only model in the series to feature the Fire TV Ambient Experience, a function that transforms the television into a smart display capable of showcasing artwork and Alexa widgets, such as calendars and sticky notes, when not actively streaming content.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Plus is available for $24.99, also reflecting a $25 reduction. While it supports Wi-Fi 6 rather than the newer 6E standard and lacks the Ambient Experience and extra storage, it shares many core capabilities with its more expensive counterpart. Both units are described by Amazon as the company’s best 4K streaming sticks, designed to simplify content discovery across multiple subscriptions.

Both devices run Amazon’s redesigned Fire TV software, which organises recommendations into dedicated hubs for television, sports, and other categories. Users can pin up to 20 favourite applications to the home screen. The hardware supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus for visual fidelity, alongside Dolby Atmos audio for compatible sound systems.

Integration with Alexa Plus is a central feature of both models, enabling voice-controlled content launch, scene searches, and smart home management. The system also allows users to view live feeds from connected Ring cameras directly on their television. Beyond the streaming sticks, the current promotional window includes deals on Anker’s Zolo Power Bank and Eufy’s Robot Vacuum Omni C20, though specific pricing for these ancillary items was not detailed in the source material.
