Amazon Prime Day 2026: Tech Discounts Hit All-Time Lows on Day Three
The Verge reports 124 ongoing technology discounts across televisions, wearables, and computing devices, with many items priced at or near historical lows.
Amazon’s four-day Prime Day sales event entered its third day on June 25, 2026, with The Verge publishing a comprehensive roundup of 124 ongoing technology discounts. The sale features reduced prices on a wide range of consumer electronics, including televisions, smart home devices, headphones, wearables, and gaming hardware. Notable items highlighted include the updated Echo Show 8, Philips Hue smart bulbs, the Twilight lamp, and various smartphones such as the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Discounts also extend to robot vacuums, laptops, and video games, with many products priced at or near their all-time lows.
The current pricing environment offers a notable reprieve for consumers following recent market volatility. Many items are at or near their all-time low prices, and in the case of products that became more expensive earlier in the year due to supply chain pressures, these sales provide an opportunity to return to previous price points. This trend aligns with broader industry shifts, including IBM’s recent unveiling of “nanostack” chip technology and market adjustments following what has been termed “RAMageddon”.
Smart home infrastructure remains a primary focus of the discounts. The updated Echo Show 8 features an 8.7-inch display with 720p resolution and supports Alexa Plus, while doubling as a smart home hub with compatibility for Zigbee, Matter, and Thread. Philips Hue smart bulb starter kits and the Twilight lamp, which utilises full-colour gradient LEDs for sleep cycles, are also heavily discounted. Additionally, Google Nest WiFi 6E systems are reported to be almost 40 per cent off for a three-pack, supporting Matter and Thread connectivity.
In the wearable and audio sector, competition is driving significant value. WIRED has published a separate roundup highlighting up to 30 per cent off Apple hardware, including the AirPods Pro 3, the 11th-generation iPad, the M4-chip iPad Air, and the M5 MacBook Air. Sony’s flagship headphones and Apple’s over-ear models with the H2 chip are also featured in the discounts. The Google Pixel 10 Pro, equipped with the Tensor G5 processor and 16GB of RAM, and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which introduces a privacy display and dual telephoto lenses, are among the key smartphone deals.
Computing and peripheral deals further illustrate the breadth of the event. Amazon’s latest Kindle Paperwhite and entry-level Kindle models are discounted, alongside Kobo’s Libra Colour e-reader. For gaming, the Switch 2 Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Metal Gear Solid Delta are available at reduced prices. Robot vacuums from brands such as Roborock, Eufy, and Ecovacs are also seeing significant price cuts, with models like the Saros 20 and Curv 2 Flow offering advanced obstacle avoidance and mopping capabilities at mid-range prices.
