Amazon Luna adds Hollow Knight to its catalog for June
Streaming service adds indie titles and Prime member perks; new release ties into theatrical debut

Amazon Luna has updated its game streaming catalog for June, adding several titles to its library. The service has incorporated Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, described as an indie smash, alongside Mega Man 11 and the boomer shooter-inspired ULTRAKILL. These additions form the core of the streaming offering for the month.

For subscribers with Amazon Prime membership, the platform is providing complimentary PC codes for a selection of games. Eligible titles include Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, Mafia III, XCOM, and Please Touch the Artwork. These codes are available for claim through the end of June, offering an additional value proposition for members beyond the streaming library.

A notable release scheduled for June 5 is Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite. This title is part of the GameNight collection, a segment of the service that allows players to utilise smartphones as controllers for couch co-op gameplay. The game features card battling and mini-games involving characters such as He-Man and Skeletor.

The launch of Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite is timed to coincide with the theatrical release of the associated movie. This strategic alignment suggests a cross-media promotional effort by the tech company to drive engagement with both the film and the interactive content.

The expansion of the Luna catalog continues Amazon’s strategy of diversifying its entertainment offerings through both streaming access and bundled digital goods for its subscription members. The inclusion of varied genres, from indie platformers to shooter titles, aims to cater to a broad spectrum of gaming preferences within the ecosystem.
