Borussia Dortmund Women remained unbeaten with a 3–0 victory over DJK Wacker Mecklenbeck, with Alex Popp scoring all three goals.

Dortmund controlled possession early as Mecklenbeck defended deep. Popp opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with a left-footed finish after Ronja Leubner won the ball near the penalty area.

The captain doubled the lead four minutes before half-time, striking an Enderle cross under the bar with a drop-kick.

Mecklenbeck showed greater attacking intent after the interval, but Dortmund extended their advantage in the 63rd minute when Popp completed her hat-trick after Ricarda Walkling capitalised on a build-up error.

Dortmund had chances to add a fourth through Walkling, Rita Schumacher and Ramona Maier. Mecklenbeck also threatened late through former Borussia player Jasmin Jabbes, but Laura van der Laan preserved Dortmund’s clean sheet.

Yahoo Sports reported that coach Markus Högner described Dortmund as occasionally sloppy and lacking clarity, while identifying Popp as the match-winner. Dortmund had made three changes to their starting line-up from the previous away match at SSV Rhade.
