Volvo sets $58,400 entry price for EX60 electric SUV as orders open
The new EX60 starts at $58,400 for the P6 Plus trim, with higher-spec P10 models available immediately and the top-tier P12 awaiting a price tag.

Volvo has released official pricing for its new EX60 electric SUV, confirming that orders are now open for the entry-level P6 and mid-range P10 trim levels. The manufacturer has positioned the vehicle in the mainstream segment, with the base EX60 P6 Plus starting at $58,400. This price point places the vehicle in direct competition with other upcoming electric SUVs, including the Rivian R2 and the BMW iX3, while remaining slightly above the average cost of a new car in the United States.
The entry-level P6 Plus model utilises an 83kWh battery pack to deliver an estimated range of 307 miles. Powered by a single rear-wheel-drive motor producing 374 horsepower, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Standard equipment across the P6 range includes Volvo’s Pilot Assist system, an 800-volt electrical architecture, a native NACS charging port, and a 15-inch OLED display with integrated Google services. The P6 Plus also supports fast charging, capable of increasing charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 16 minutes at up to 320kW.
For buyers seeking additional features, the EX60 P6 Ultra is priced at $65,000. This trim adds ventilated leather seats, heated second-row seating, and a dimmable electrochromic roof. Moving to the all-wheel-drive P10 variants, the P10 AWD Plus starts at $60,750, while the P10 AWD Ultra is listed at $67,350. These models increase the battery capacity to 95kWh, extending the estimated range to 322 miles and boosting maximum charging rates to 370kW.
Performance specifications rise significantly in the P10 lineup, with output increasing to 510 horsepower and reducing the 0 to 100 km/h time to 4.6 seconds. At the top of the range sits the P12 AWD, which delivers 680 horsepower and a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds. This model features a larger 117 kWh battery with an estimated range of 400 miles, though Volvo has not yet announced an official price for this variant.
Volvo’s launch strategy for the EX60 involves an initial rollout of the P6 and P10 trims, with the more expensive P12 models expected to become available at a later date. This approach contrasts with competitors like Rivian, which have begun sales with their most premium versions. The EX60 is positioned as a premium, safety-focused five-seater, with Volvo noting that its range is sufficient for long-distance travel, such as a trip from New York City to Montreal.
