According to reporting by The Verge, the show concluded its third season with an episode focusing on the experimental rock band Can. This episode served as the final part of a series on Krautrock, a topic the hosts had previously indicated they intended to explore further.
Hosts Marcus Parks and Carolina Hidalgo, a married couple known for their on-mic chemistry, had announced plans to produce a second series dedicated to punk rock. Season one of the podcast had already covered the genre, and the hosts expressed interest in revisiting the subject. However, the feed has remained silent since the announcement, leaving listeners waiting for what has been described as a "Punk Rock 2.0" series.
The podcast has produced 73 episodes to date, covering a wide range of influential acts including the Beastie Boys, The Velvet Underground, Joy Division, and The Stooges. The series is noted for its depth, with some installments running for several hours. For instance, a two-part introduction to Krautrock focusing on Amon Düül II exceeds three hours, while a series on The Replacements runs for nearly nine hours.
