Ninja has launched the Crispi Microwave, marking the company’s entry into the microwave appliance sector with a device designed to function as both a standard microwave and an air fryer. Priced at $449, the 1,000-watt unit is available for purchase directly through SharkNinja’s online store. The launch expands Ninja’s existing portfolio of counter appliances, which previously included items such as ice cream makers and double-decker toaster ovens.
The appliance features a flatbed interior design rather than a traditional turntable. According to manufacturer specifications, this configuration provides 40 per cent more usable cooking surface area than conventional models. The design allows for the placement of two bags of popcorn simultaneously and is described as being easier to clean.
