Apple expands multi-device AppleCare One insurance to UK, France, Germany and Australia

Apple has confirmed the international expansion of its AppleCare One multi-device insurance plan, extending the service to the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Australia. The rollout is scheduled to commence on 4 August 2026, marking the first time the bundled coverage model is available outside the United States, where it was introduced a year prior.
The plan consolidates protection for multiple Apple products, including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches and MacBooks, into a single monthly subscription. In the United Kingdom, the base cost is set at £16.99 per month for three devices, with an additional charge of £4.99 per month for each extra device. French customers will face a monthly fee of €20.99 for three devices, with additional units costing €5.99 per month. Specific pricing for the German and Australian markets was not disclosed in the source material.
Coverage under AppleCare One mirrors the standard AppleCare+ plan but includes theft and loss protection for eligible devices up to four years old. The service provides unlimited repairs for accidental damage, battery replacement services and 24/7 priority access to Apple experts. Apple noted that existing devices are eligible for coverage provided they are no more than four years old and remain in good condition.
Apple states that bundling devices can offer significant savings for consumers with higher-end equipment. The company calculated that a customer insuring an iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch together could save up to £11.48 per month compared to maintaining separate AppleCare+ plans with theft and loss coverage for each device. However, the company acknowledged that individual coverage may remain more cost-effective for users with basic devices or those who do not require theft and loss protection.
In the UK, Apple is simultaneously extending theft and loss coverage to iPads and Apple Watches under the standard AppleCare+ plan, joining the iPhone which already offered this option. Base iPad coverage starts at £4.99 per month, while theft and loss coverage for an iPhone 17 starts at £9.49 per month. This expansion follows recent price increases for AppleCare+ for Macs and iPads in the United States, driven by rising hardware costs for devices such as the M5 Max MacBook Pro.
