Metroid Prime Remastered drops to $27.99 in Nintendo sale

Metroid Prime Remastered is available digitally for $27.99 for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 during Nintendo’s Customer Appreciation sale, which runs through September 26, according to The Verge.
The physical version costs about $42 at Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart. Prices and availability may change during the sale.
The game updates the 2002 GameCube release with refreshed textures and lighting. The Verge says it runs smoothly and does not require motion controls.
A 208-page Metroid Prime trilogy art book, Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective, is also discounted to $28.50 at Amazon and Walmart. Its listed regular price is $49.99.
